SOLCASA Programme
The Decision of the Chair of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving was published in the Spanish Official Gazette on 19th May 2010 and within the framework of Renewable Energies Plan in Spain 2005-2010, establishing the call and relevant bases to authorise companies within programme SOLCASA, on building solar thermal energy.
As it happens with Programmes BIOMCASA and GEOTCASA, this Programme means to set up a financing system to boost a quality offer adapted to users’ needs for hot water, heating and cooling in buildings using solar thermal energy, all of it within the Renewable Energy Plan in Spain 2005-2010.
In order to finance projects submitted by the authorised firms that meet the Programme’s requirement, the IDAE has allocated a specific budget worth 5,000,000 euros.
