- The Comisión Nacional de EnergÃa (National Energy Commission), an independent regulatory body set up by Law 34/1998, 7 October 1998, on the hydrocarbons sector, has responsibility for ensuring the sector's objectivity and transparency so as to benefit consumers and all other agents operating in the system. In the main directory of the CNE's website you can find a section devoted to electricity and/or natural gas consumers (both so-called qualified consumers and those on the standard tariffs).
