Geothermal. A nearby energy source
Spain has considerable geothermal potential. Its future development could bring the country close to levels of utilisation in other European countries. This potential makes it possible to use this renewable source of energy to generate electricity and to produce heat, primarily for indoor heating. This will contribute to reducing Spain\\\'s dependence on energy imports and reduce fossil fuel consumption.
