Of all human activities, generating, transporting and using energy is among those with the greatest negative impact on the environment.
Compared with conventional sources, however, renewable sources, which are the clean and inexhaustible resources nature provides, have an impact which is almost negligible and always reversible.
Being domestically produced, renewable energy sources can also help curb the country's dependence on energy imports, thus reducing the risks posed by reliance on an undiversified range of sources of supply, as well as encouraging technological development and job creation.
Renewable Energy Manuals
A collection of six case manuals with technologies on renewable energies. The collection is the result of an agreement signed by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) and the Association of Environmental Information Journalists (APIA).
The edited manuals are listed on the “Accompanying Documents” section.
