The IDAE has developed a software tool to analyse and optimise the electric bill in any kind of farming exploitations, and is also valid for any kind of electric supply.

The tool carries out simulations in various scenarios of feed-in tariff prices or bid tariffs on the market and compares them with the current tariff to determine the envisaged saving potential.

Moreover, the application calculates (should it have reactive energy) the optimum condenser battery to be installed, an average investment price and the payoff time of the investment in relation to the produced saving.

The basis for the calculation of the simulations lies with the bills emitted by the electric company in the last year. These data are essential to achieve exact results.   

Nevertheless, the application does not detect wrong bills or bills wrongly calculated by the electric company, nor does it correct the errors that these may display.
